Cobra 148 stands next to all the export radios if tuned proper
I have used a 148 in my vehicle for about two years now and I am totally convinced this is one of the best. Right out of the box I had a pro tune it for me. Cobra 148 GTL SSB CB Radio
Good News! Cobra has brought back the original Cobra 148 GTL CB radio with a few modern touchups. It?s back with 80 SSB channels (in addition to 40 standard CB channels), a front microphone connector, dual conversion AM receiver, and PA capability. The 148GTL PA setup provides four watts into the external speaker, which has eight ohms of resistance. It also comes with an impressive 300-2500 Hz frequency response and an automatic noise limiter. Along with a simple control panel, the 148 GTL has an illuminated meter to make it easy to read even in the dark. This product has benefited from the test of time and from modern-day technology. Bottom line, this is a great CB radio, one of the best you can buy.
