Doctor come here quick, I think these things are alive!!!!
The Grado 125 is the first in the Grado line that approaches true audiophile sound. It has better detail than the SR-60 or SR-80. The highs are much more realistic - not the sparkly highs of the lower cost units. Midrange is a bit recessed but dynamic and the bass is clean and tight.

Grado's ability to combine lightness with extreme rigidity and internal damping has been put to good use on the SR125. Based on the same design as the SR80, the SR125 features an improved diaphragm and voice coil design and UHPLC (Ultra-high purity, long crystal) copper voice coil wire. The Diaphragms are put through a special 'de-stressing' process in order to enhance inner detail.
