It all begins with the back box. Traditionally, memory for location-specific operating parameters such as preset positions, alarm functions and camera settings resided in the dome drive. Of course, this is the one component that is most likely to be changed or moved to another location. With Spectra IV SE, all location-specific settings are stored in non-volatile memory within the dome enclosure, meaning all programming for a site location is retained; regardless of how many times the dome drive is changed.
