When it worked it worked well. Push to hard on the CD and the drive mechanism falls apart. $90.00 to repair, not worth it on a $140.00 unit. I would suggest a Panasonic. The case is great. I received this cd player as a Christmas gift. If I had purchased a player on my own, I likely would have selected a more inexpensive unit. However, I am very pleased with the D-MJ95 so far. THE PERFECT CAR CD PLAYER!!!
I just got my first car in August '01, and the first thing I got for it was this CD player, which came in a car kit. KICK BUTT
I recommend a CD player Sony D-MJ95. I did not purchase it from Best Buy, but I own it and I Love it. I think it's the best portable CD player for Car, etc for these reasons:
Skip-Free G-Protection ? ... with G-Protection, it's virtually unskippable.
