CD Player seems like a Lifelong Pal to me.

Excellent player for the price
I bought the 'car ready' sibling of this model, the D-NE518CK. I won't comment on the car adapter part since I doesn't come with this model (nor have I had to use it). I've had it since late Dec. 04.

Sony D-NF610 Is A Decent Cd Player
I bought the Sony D-NF610 at BestBuy today for $89.99.It's very light.The battery life is Excellent. My cheap dollar store batteries last very long. Almost Perfect
Great little player. Use it mainly in my car. Love the fact that you can fit multiple albums and hundreds of songs on one disk (especially if using the Atrac3 format).
