The VPL-DX15 is very portable at under five pounds, with a small footprint suitable for desktop usage. The Off and Go feature allows for quick packup after use. Its 3LCD projection system (also known as high-temperature poly-silicon or HTPS) displays images that are bright, natural, and gentle on the eyes.The VPL-DX15 is a Windows Vista Network Projector featuring Remote Desktop, so the user can view files and folders from their PC and access web browsers without needing proprietary software all without bringing a PC along. The network also lets users monitor the projector s status and will even e-mail updates.The VPL-DX15 incorporates Digital Detail Enhancer (DDE) to provide a smooth video signal, while the 12-Bit 3D Gamma Correction and 3D comb filter help emphasize fine images and shape boundaries.The VPL-DX15 automatically checks the projector s input connectors and selects the one to which an input signal is supplied. Images are projected from the moment the power is turned on.
