Considering that I just bought a new DVD player for $7 more, this answering machine is a little disappointing. I paid around $20 for it at Walmart.

Barely, minimally useful
Most of the usual functions are in there. Volume, Next [message], Previous [message], digital readout of number-of-messages, time stamp, records digitally using electronic memory instead of magnetic tape.

A piece of CR*P
It took me 2 hours to figure out how to set it up. If there hadn't been a photo of the setup in the manual, I would never have figured it out from the written instructions.
