Since fiber optic strands do not generate but only carry light, all fiber optic lighting requires an illuminator. The Super Vision 6-Color Illuminator Synchronous is designed to be used with other synchronous units to synchronize fiber optic lighting installations that require multiple light sources. It can also be used as a stand-alone illuminator. If you need only one illuminator but think you might want to add a second light source for future fiber optic lighting, it is a good idea to purchase the synchronous model. This preassembled kit from Super Vision features an underwater convex glass spot lens with 15 feet of EndGlow fiber optic cable already attached. The EndGlow cable contains 150 fiber optic strands. Lens diameter including faceplate is 3.5". This kit can be used for new pool and spa installations as well as renovations. The pre-cut and pre-assembled lens assembly saves time and money and makes it easy to pull cable through conduit. All kits require an illuminator.
